In today’s data-driven professional environments, efficient media transfer is crucial to productivity across numerous industries. Photographers, videographers handling high-resolution content, and security professionals managing continuous surveillance footage—quick, reliable data transfer from memory cards directly impacts their workflows. USB 3.0 card readers bridge the gap between modern computing platforms and the various memory card formats employed in nearly all professional equipment; significantly faster transfer speeds than USB 2.0 predecessors are a primary reason for their near-universal adoption.
We specialize in manufacturing these USB 3.0 card readers to meet the more demanding requirements of business users and true professionals. Multi-slot readers are our focus, allowing simultaneous access to at least SD, microSD (TF), and CompactFlash cards, reducing the near-inevitable need for multiple small adapters. Large file transfers—the fundamental time-consuming aspect of many jobs—see dramatic reductions in waiting time; 4K video and all associated high-res photographic data are prime examples. Built for repeated use, the reader features reinforced connectors and a simple yet strong housing.
Compatibility is a key design consideration. SDHC/XC/UC cards of all sizes up to 2TB are supported, and speed classes (UHS being the most important) are being pushed to their full potential. Plug-and-play functionality with Windows, macOS, and, to a large extent, Linux systems is expected and achieved. Industrial-style readers with all or some extended durability features are also available.
As a direct manufacturer, we provide flexible solutions for business-type clients—bulk pricing, pre-configured, or otherwise custom-made readers are all part of our service. Professional users (and all who follow them) will always need and want, at least temporarily, a reliable and/or fast media transfer solution.

5 Gbps Transfer Speeds
USB 3.0 card readers allow you to revolutionize workflow efficiency with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. This dramatically reduces waiting time when moving large files; after all, who wants a slow connection that takes forever to finish so close to home in a given day? Photographers can transfer hundreds of high-resolution RAW images in minutes instead of hours. Videographers benefit from the rapid movement of 4K video files. Over time, as the resolution increases, the speed advantage will become increasingly attractive. You do not want your transfer technology running behind your capture technology.

Multi-Format Compatibility
Our newest USB 3.0 reader can transfer data to today’s most commonly used memory card slots by automatically detecting the slot. Each model has dedicated slots for CF and other memory card types —four in all —preventing misinsertion and ensuring contacts are correctly aligned. The truth is, professionals with a wide range of cameras and equipment no longer have to carry readers around! Card types required are variable depending on the shooting environment. Still, Bespokecable’s versatile device can handle just about any need in this regard, thanks to its USB 3.0 A port input.
Support Plug-and-Play
Compatible with most modern operating systems, USB 3.0 card readers are ready to use immediately, with no driver installation required. All you need to do is put the card into your memory card reader and plug it into any open USB port on your computer or flash drive. Files can be reached within seconds. When you consider this fact alongside the product’s technological sophistication, it’s easy to see why so many people have been able to use it. Users range from professional digital photographers who need hard-to-find accessories or advanced editing features in their editing software, to those who wish to take decent pictures with their digital cameras.

Backward Compatible USB 2.0
Although this card reader is designed for USB 3.0 speed, it is compatible with all USB 2.0 ports backward. When those old computers connect to them, they automatically switch to USB 2.0 speed, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices and connections. The distinctive blue USB connector easily distinguishes USB 3.0 capability at a glance, yet it is compatible with all standard USB ports. The distinctive blue USB connector visually distinguishes USB 3.0 capability while providing physical compatibility with all standard USB ports.
The Best Choice for Photographers
For professional photographers, USB 3.0 readers significantly streamline post-production workflows. With fast transfer speeds, the first advantage is rapid ingestion for those large photo shoots, while reliable connectivity ensures no images are left behind during transfer. Many pros use these readers with photo management software that automatically organizes and backs up images as soon as they’re transferred, creating an efficient digital asset management pipeline.

Yes, USB 3.0 readers are backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports.
Several factors can affect device performance.
To achieve high read/write rates, you need to ensure that the memory card does not become too full, that no background tasks are running, and that, if possible, you split a huge file into smaller ones for transfer. Ensure you use a high-speed card and connect to a blue USB 3.0 port optimized for performance.
A few reader models support simultaneous access, and high-end products come with this feature.
But they’re rare in the marketplace—most multi-card readers let you withdraw only one card type’s data at a time. If your peripheral treats every card as a separate drive letter or volume, Windows will have difficulty becoming independent of them. The best solution (still slow) is to yank out media and stuff it back in whenever needed—many people feel driven mad by this process.

Yes, before you remove the reader, open your operating system’s “Safe Eject” feature to ensure that any data has been written to the reader. This will also release files still in cache memory so that they can be written to their respective media. Abrupt removal during active transfers can damage files or even the card.
First, connect it to a different USB port—ideally a USB 3.0 port. Check whether the reader is inserted and whether the card is correctly positioned in its slot. If possible, try a different memory card. If issues continue, test the reader on another computer and see whether the problem lies with the reader or your USB ports.
All our new USB 3.0 card readers are compatible with the latest SDXC and SDUC cards.
However, ancient USB 3.0 readers aren’t some (over 2 TB). As SDXC support becomes standard on most modern models of USB 3.0 readers, this will only be an issue for ancient hardware. Furthermore, SDUC cards (up to 2TB of storage) are already supported by almost every USB 3.0 reader.
The theoretical maximum is 5 Gbps, but real-world speeds typically range from 300 to 400 MB/s. Your computer’s USB controller and the memory card’s specific speed class are significant factors in achieving these speeds.
Yes, they will work—at least partially—via USB 2.0 ports. Full performance is only achieved with USB 3.0 or later ports.
Our multi-slot models allow the system to access multiple inserts, one at a time. More advanced models encourage proper simultaneous access.
Standard USB 3.0 readers do not; SD Express requires the higher USB 3.2 speeds. Separate models are available for this purpose.
UHS-II (if supported) has additional pins for said faster speeds, maintaining backward compatibility. The manufacturer clearly specifies the UHS standard.
Most modern OSes have built-in drivers. Advanced features, if any, will have dedicated driver support, which we provide on our site.
Appropriate adapters will work, USB-C or Lightning being the most common. As mentioned above, transfer speeds will be limited by the mobile device.
