In the highly interconnected world of electronics and computing, connectors serve as the critical interface points that allow communication between components and systems. New connector technologies constantly emerge, but established standards—D-Sub, SCSI, SATA, and, to a large extent, SAS—remain essential across countless commercial, industrial, and specialized applications. These connectors have stood the test of time; their durability, proven performance, and near-perfect compatibility surpass the ‘more advanced’ yet untested alternatives available today.
We manufacture a near-comprehensive range of connector solutions for legacy systems and all modern applications. D-Sub connectors (9-pin, 15-pin, 25-pin, if I recall correctly) provide robust serial and various parallel interfaces; industrial controls, networking equipment, and simple computer peripherals are prime examples. SCSI connectors support high-speed data transfer, with server-based and specialized storage being the primary use case. Internal and external options are available. SATA is self-explanatory, enterprise-level SAS taking the top spot for increased speed and reliability.
This quality commitment—legacy or contemporary technology —counts, distinguishing our connector solutions. Mixed environments in business operations occur daily; older equipment must interface with newer systems. Original specifications are strived for (and often exceeded) in our manufacturing processes; durability and all aspects of performance are the end goals. Contacts are precision plated, housings are built for secure mating and, to a large degree, strain relief; thousands of mating cycles can be expected.
Various mounting styles (through-hole, surface-mount, panel-mount, etc.) are available, and custom solutions are part of our service. OEM and system integrator clients will always find a place for us. Legacy systems, new servers, or any defined application—interoperability and/or reliability of a connector, to us at least, is and will always be a success factor.

Industrial Control Applications
In industrial automation and control systems, D-Sub connectors provide reliable interfaces for serial communications and various sensor connections. Our ruggedized versions feature metal shells and some secure locking mechanism; vibration, temperature variations, and frequent mating cycles are all accounted for. The challenging factory environment is the primary consideration for their design.

Data Storage Solution
Server rooms and data centers rely on SATA and SAS connectors for near-perfect storage connectivity. Maintaining signal integrity at these higher data rates is key, hot-swapping being another critical factor; vibration-prone rack environments require a truly secure connection. Precision contacts are what push reliable 24/7 operation to near reality.
Compatibility of Professional Equipment
Many specialized medical, scientific, and industrial instruments still use SCSI interfaces for high-speed, all-encompassing data transfers. Our SCSI connectors offer the necessary backward compatibility while meeting modern reliability standards, ensuring critical equipment maintains (or regains) all forms of connectivity.

System Integration Flexibility
System integrators working with a wide array of equipment need connector solutions to bridge these generation gaps. D-Sub, SCSI, SATA, and, to an extent, SAS are the perfect flexible interfaces—legacy and more current components can be joined together, simplifying the integration process.
Quality and Reliability
Connector failure equals system downtime. All our connectors undergo rigorous testing (contact, insulation, and physical). The end goal is the system’s long-term performance and/or safety; materials and plating are chosen to mitigate at least some of the issues mentioned earlier.

Although physically similar, SAS connectors have additional contacts for higher reliability and support full-duplex communication. Backward compatibility with SATA devices is maintained, but the reverse is not true—SATA connectors cannot be used in place of SAS ones.
Absolutely. Industrial controls, various networking equipment, and many ‘specialized’ applications keep D-Sub connectors at or near the top of their list of preferred connectivity. They value robustness and near-perfect reliability above more recently developed, less durable alternatives.
Yes, through appropriate host adapter cards. Native support on most modern motherboards has been lost, but PCIe-based adapter cards make connecting SCSI devices a viable option for at least temporary or specialized uses.
Our SATA connectors comply with SATA III specifications, with a maximum transfer rate of 6 Gb/s. We ensure full and partial backward compatibility with SATA devices at lower speeds.
Standard pin types are available, and custom pinouts are also provided. By omitting certain pins for a specific interface, we can tailor it to various end uses.
Internal and external variants are both available. External SAS (or similar) connectors have the added shielding and more robust housing that the external application demands.
Commercial-grade is typically 1000-5000 cycles; industrial-grade can push well past that if needed.
Yes, as above, we offer selective and complete gold plating where required.
